Boyd Brothers Service Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Office Support team member to join our growing team in Southwest Florida.

With over 40 years of service in HVAC, electrical, and building automation, we pride ourselves on quality work, strong relationships, and taking care of both our customers and our team.

What You’ll Do:

As a General Office Support team member, you’ll play a key role in keeping our daily operations running efficiently. You’ll work closely with our office staff, technicians, and customers to ensure a smooth and professional experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering phone calls and assisting customers with scheduling, questions, and service requests
  • Managing emails and providing timely, professional responses
  • Coordinating appointments and dispatching technicians as needed
  • Entering and updating customer information, service tickets, and work orders
  • Assisting with invoicing, filing, and general administrative tasks
  • Supporting multiple departments including HVAC, electrical, and building automation
  • Communicating with team members to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional office environment
  • Providing excellent customer service at every touchpoint

What You Bring:

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in an office, administrative, or customer service role
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Boyd Brothers Service Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Building Automation (BMS) System Specialist to join our growing team.

As an Authorized Dealer of Automated Logic, Boyd Brothers has been delivering high-quality HVAC, electrical, and building automation solutions across Southwest Florida for over 40 years. We focus on creating efficient, reliable, and smart building environments for our commercial clients—and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to be part of that mission.

What You’ll Do:

As a BMS System Specialist, you’ll play a key role in the installation, startup, commissioning, and optimization of building automation systems. You’ll work both independently and alongside a team to ensure systems are performing efficiently and meeting project requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Commissioning and startup of building automation systems (HVAC, lighting, and related controls)
  • Verifying system programming, graphics, and databases align with project scope and sequence of operations
  • Troubleshooting system performance issues and identifying effective solutions
  • Assisting with network setup, integration, and system backups
  • Supporting system testing, point-to-point verification, and final commissioning
  • Reviewing and interpreting technical documents such as wiring diagrams, control drawings, and submittals
  • Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and field technicians to ensure successful project delivery
  • Providing training and support to customers on system operation and functionality
  • Documenting commissioning activities, service reports, and as-built updates accurately and on time
  • Maintaining strong, professional communication with customers and internal teams

What You Bring:

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in HVAC, building automation, electrical systems, or controls
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites throughout Southwest Florida
  • Ability to work in various environments (rooftops, mechanical rooms, ladders, tight spaces)
  • Comfortable using hand tools, laptops, and mobile devices in the field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with building automation systems and protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Automated Logic systems or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, controls sequences, and energy management strategies
  • Basic understanding of IP networking and system integration
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities
