We’re currently hiring Instrumentation Controls Technicians to support our commercial accounts across beautiful Southwest Florida. What You’ll Do:

  • Startup & Commissioning: Execute start-up, commissioning, and re-commissioning of commercial HVAC and electrical systems.
  • Project Documentation: Complete essential paperwork including work orders, service logs, commissioning reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Tech Interpretation: Review and interpret technical documents like wiring diagrams, schematics, and as-builts.
  • Energy Optimization: Analyze building automation systems and data to uncover opportunities for energy efficiency.
  • Client Communication: Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and customers to ensure project timelines and service expectations are met.
  • Superior Service: Support customers via phone, email, and site visits—resolving issues quickly and professionally.

Who You Are:

  • A skilled technician with 2+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical systems, Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and working with service documentation.
  • Able to read and understand technical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Bonus if you’re familiar with IP networking and third-party integrations (BACnet IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus).
  • A natural problem-solver who works well independently and can manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Professional and clear communicator, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

What We Offer: 

  • Competitive hourly pay starting at $28.00/hr.
  • Full-time, 40 hours/week (8-hour shifts).

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with 2+ years’ experience in HVAC, electrical and/or service technician, OR Associates Degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship, OR other post-high school training (2 years duration) with 1+ years of experience in HVAC, electrical and/or controls service coordinator, service technician.
  • 1+ year experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 1+ year experience in customer service.

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of HVAC systems for efficiency and proper functioning.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize schematics and design specifications to accurately troubleshoot and repair systems.
  • Collaboration and Service: Work alongside other technicians and provide top-tier customer service, addressing any client concerns with professionalism and care.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced with at least 1+ year in the HVAC industry, with a strong grasp of air conditioning and heating principles.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics.
  • Flexible with working hours, including availability for after-hours, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces.
  • A holder of a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and preferably an EPA certification.

What We Offer:

  • Full-time position with an hourly rate of $18.00 – $25.00.

  • Starting up, commissioning, and recommissioning HVAC, lighting, and refrigeration control systems.

What You Bring:

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED plus 2+ years of experience in HVAC, electrical, or technician roles – OR – Associate’s degree or post-secondary technical training with 1+ year of relevant experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service or support roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with building automation systems and controls integration (BACnet, Modbus, etc.).
  • Knowledge of HVAC, lighting, and refrigeration controls applications.
  • Solid understanding of IP networking and computer systems.
